A new Boeing 787 Dreamliner from United Airlines with 184 people on board was forced to divert its route to New Orleans on Tuesday after registering a mechanical problem during a flight from Houston to Newark.

The United said the flight was carrying 174 passengers and 10 crew
Boeing said it "is aware of deviation of the 787 United flight to New Orleans. We are working with our client, at his request, to better understand the event."

It is quite dangerous when it comes to electrical problems but sometimes it can be such a small defect that it can go undetected. Great news that nobody was hurt and the plane landed safely, it could of been a terrible situation.
