Boeing wants to release cellphone use during their flights

Boeing 787
Boeing announced that it has begun to upgrade their equipment to allow the aircrafts model 747, 777 and 787 to have some form of connectivity on board, which means that passengers could access some features of their phones without fear.

The forecast is that in 2013, you can receive and make calls on the heights, and connect to Wi-Fi networks and monitor TV broadcasts without putting everyone's safety at risk.

Boeing will need to go through some bureaucracies. The main barrier is proving to government security agencies, as the FAA, that there are no problems in using the device during the takeoff and landing of the aircrafts.
