Boeing delivers first 787 Dreamliner to Qatar Airways

Boeing has just delivered the first 787 Dreamliner to Qatar Airways, the first in a series of 30 more  Boeing 787s and the first to be delivered to an airline in the Middle East.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is the first mid-size airplane capable of making long routes and allow companies like Qatar Airways to open new direct routes. The carrier said it will use the Dreamliner on services like Dubai, London Heathrow, Delhi and Zurich.

The 787 provides companies with a fuel economy and reduced operating costs, and new technologies that will improve the experience for passengers. The Boeing 787 are configured to offer 22 seats in Business Class and 232 in Economy Class.
